The Studio

Sockit Studio was founded in 1999 and has risen as the sum of education and experience of its owner and head engineer Devon Kirkpatrick. Sockit was the first commercial Digital Audio Workstation & Pro Tools based studio in Baton Rouge. It has been home to over 60 staff members as well as many freelance engineers & producers over the years. Sockit Studio has two GRAMMY nominations and has been a part of numerous Billboard charting songs. After flooding with over three feet of water in 2016, the studio was rebuilt under the guidance of world renowned studio designer Russ Berger.
